Values and Philosophy

I work from three primary concepts:

Therapeutic Technique and Methodology

As an Existential art therapist I am passionate about making a safe space in which the creative process of facilitating your personal meaning can occur. I believe that the relationship between the therapist and the client is a tool in this process. We create trust, understanding, and empathy necessary for the work of therapy. The work entails identifying issues and concerns and processing them in a constructive way. I am interested in holding hope for you on this journey, even when you are feeling hopeless. I think it is important to understand the connection between the mind and the body as well as the past and the present as challenges are confronted. I find the use of creativity, both in art making and perspective changing, very healing. It is an honor to guide you in the process of creating the life you desire.
